Just curious how far have they jacked of gas where you are & is there gas on hand ?
Yesterday morn. I gased up my car at $3.72 gal. Right after that people started to panic lines got long prices rose & some stations ran out of gas. Prices were jacked up as folks waited in line. When I came home from work last night all the stations in my area $4.29 gal with no lines same this am. Out this am & was able to gas up the car the wife drives at $4.07 per gal. in Belmont,NC approx 7 to 8 miles from the airport. Also no lines. I did observe a couple stations in that area that appeared to be out of gas.

Yesterday it was $3.49. Then Ike hit and today it's $3.65.

You probably saw my FFOCUS post about filling the tank on Friday - paid $3.569 at Costco. GasBuddy says the average for High Point NC today is $4.09 with the lowest $3.59. We're on the Colonial Pipeline that comes up from the Gulf, which usually helps - less transportation cost from the distribution center near GSO airport. I heard this morning that Colonial was shut down, though, so prices might start putting a pinch on the wallet if it remains shut down long.
