Going for my introductory flight Friday. Expectations?

Hello everyone. New to the forum, so hello.

On Friday I'll be taking an introductory flight from a local FBO. It'll be in a Cessna 152, 30 minutes on the ground, 30 in the air. They say I get to "fly the plane," but I'm not expecting much.

My question is what I ought to expect. Anything I should ask, beware of, make sure to check out?

I'm currently a law student, so the ABA won't let me work more than 20 hours per week, and there isn't really time anyhow. I'd like to get my PPL over the next year or so, but I'm wondering how I ought to pay for it. I can work full time during the summer, and there are two FBOs near me. One is significantly cheaper than the other. Are there alternatives to the FBO route? Can I find a local CFI who owns his own plane and save that way? Money is tight for me like it is for everyone, but I want to see if this is for me. I'm willing to work overtime to get the money to pay for it, but I only have a 3 month window each year until 2015. So, what's the best way to go about this?
