This cable run was found when a pilot reported "ailerons feel stiff"
CheaterI'm gonna be a rocket scientist and say since it's on the US board that it's uh from a US aircraft?
This aint funny and it shouldnt be posted here.
Management's rational is that if a "Designated QC" inspector accomplishes the "initial check" knowing that once the initial inspection is finished, that individual will revert back to the "technician" role and fix the discrepancy; in hopes there will be fewer discrepancies identified. If management could get rid of QC Inspectors, they would and that has been an on-going battle since the first aircraft was inspected. That is a battle that will never be "won" by management thanks to the FAA.think what you want, but in the real world here at LCC, full time inspection personel do NOT accomplish the initial inspection of aircraft coming into a heavy maintenance check....They USED to, but not anymore....FAA is aware, Tempe prefers it that way. Is much more ' cost ' driven.....That make sense to you?
Wasn’t that due to wiring harnesses in the wheel wells?Im gonna say AA since they grounded 1000 flights today!
This was a good find but has no place in this format. You will scare the s--t out of people. How long out of overhaul and where was it done. That is the question. Retired Lead Mech. This cable run was found when a pilot reported "ailerons feel stiff"
