You never read what I write, or what?
Go back and look, ffs.
Pro tip: It's never about fixing one that's already occurred; it's about preventing the next one...
You still can't answer.

What law would have prevented this.

And since they didn't adhere to existing ones, what makes you the no they would adhere to any new ones?

Both you and Kev are avoiding this answer like the plague.

Why is that?
There will be no answers until people like you admit there is a problem.

There is a problem, but it has nothing to do with firearms.

And you are asking for solutions?

Hardly. Evil people exist that are always adamant about harming others for their personal purposes, be those theft/rape/pillage/religious domination/whatever. Simply shooting such people whenever national or even merely self defense mandates is both a very sane and entirely rational response....unless one's a mindless liberal, of course...in which case the terms "rational" and even at all "sane" certainly fail to apply...although "mindless" remains an apparent constant there.

All these said laws only apply to and work for the law abiding.

Suck on that for a while.
that little tidbit seems hard for some to grasp

There already is a myriad on the books which are not obeyed by criminals. What makes people think a new improved whizz bang law will bring criminals into compliance?

(397 people suffered myocardial infarction's while I typed this, not one died due to a GSW.)

It's not legislated, but if I choose to ignore convention and smoke 2 packs a day, eat a poor diet and never exercise, I'm really only going to hurt myself. You can't really say the same about guns.

That said, we also pour tons of $$$ into presenting heart disease, and make sure people know both the risks and signs of an MI. Heck, there are now AED machines in many public places. Why not put that same effort into trying to thwart gun violence?
