My happiest time at this airline? March 21, 2008 to the present

Happiness is attainable wx you are in or out of the airline business. Happiness and peace are easily gotten if you want them. It is a choice. You can choose to be miserable or you can thank your lucky stars that you are alive.

I think airline people ought to think outside of the box. If your happiness quotient rises and falls with how your airline is doing, that's pitiful indeed. 🙁 I stop short of saying the same thing about seniority. DOH and nothing else. (with pretty white picket fences of course).

I am in an airline family and I know your drill. But you are selling yourselves terribly short if you think "that's all there is"<------------ There is more, so much more to life than what you do for a living!

january 24 1974 ahhh being 18 and still doing it 34 years later.. yeah right now a nightmare everyday.. but i keep the 1974 attitude and treat people the same way even though they have not changed.. the day i walk out and not turn back but the folks the fun and the folks ive met over these years could not have happened without being in this business and working with great professionals of USairways and yes the other carriers also...

Hum... Let's see. I have grown up a lot. I'm clean and sober. I'm less confrontational (still working on that one). I'm alive when I should had been dead 15+ years ago. I'm a better f/a and person all around. I believe in a power greater than myself. I have a job that really hasn't changed as much as people might think and it's hand over fist easier today than ever. Yup, I'm pretty darn happy. This industry has been in turmoil for the 22 yrs I have been here and US Airways has led the way. My happiness is NOT contingent upon this industry or this company. The sooner some around here realize that, there sooner they will move from the constant sad debbie downer mentality.

Hey...I love your post..
Clean and sober is a great thing... congrats..
I am alive.... and happy after living through a coma and on live support... I am still flying as a f/a

and when people #### and moan that they are not in the right seat on this flight I say.." you should be
happy you got here.." you are alive... so whats your problem???

I say the same thing for the people that I work with... go get a new job... leave... you did not come here by
ball and chain... go get a new job....

LOL

During the Ed Colodny days. I loved that man, he cared about the airline and the employees. I wonder how Ed would handle things today?

Now there was an airline CEO ! ! ! Too bad he was forced to retire at age 60.

When I presented the 2000 agreement and got booed.............................

I was happiest before the attempted "merger" with UA and before "no plan B" ... but times do change

I hear the "old women" at the ATO in IND everyday moaning and b******g about how they hate their jobs and wish this and wish that.. They won't talk to me now lol.. I've said too many times that if they don't like it, leave and someone who loves the work - like me - would gladly go back to US and do it

1987 when I was on reserve, but it didn't matter because I had never been to Ithica, Albany, Buffalo, Elmira, Syracuse, Jacksonville, Austin, Harrisburg, Charleston, and a hundred other cities. It was all exciting, even on a 10+15 RON in a blizzard. Now, it's gotta be Paris/Rome/Amsterdam with 78 degrees and low humidity. jk
