AirFrance will eventually buy the remnants of Alitalia and close the MXP hub.

Actually this could be a pretty good airline.

AF employees didn't suffer from 9/11 the way employess in the USA did. AF management is doing a good job, remeber social security taxes in France are worse then here in the USA.
