How does a possible strike affect ASA?

I've read that ASA is not commenting as to the effects of a strike to their airline, but I was wondering what some of your opinions are. I thought of a few possibilities:

1) The airline would not be affected and may expand their number of flights.
2) The airline may suffer somewhat due to the dependence of Delta booking their flights.
3) Because ASA "connects" Delta passengers to Delta flights, ASA would lose business.

I'm not somebody in the know, but would like to read others' thoughts. Thanks!!

For the most part, if the "mother ship" airline is not flying there is no reason in the world for the regional to fly--other than to get the last arriving passengers at the hub to their final destinations.

In the case of ASA, why would anyone fly ASA to ATL, SLC, or CVG if there was no DL flight to connect to?
