What's new

I guess marketing really does work.

I think that boat sailed. You can dress him up any way you want, the people have had enough. He still has not made a single campaign speech or a single candidate running for office. That alone speaks volumes about how the public views him and his administration. I a guessing that we will not see him stumping any time in the future either.

I can't speak for anyone else but as for me, but Cheney has done so much damage to this country that it will take decades to undo. I am fed up with their lies, with their narcissistic attitude of I'm getting mine and screw the rest of the world. The attitude that god has anointed them to do what ever it is that the little voices in their head are telling them to do. The attitude that the law is for those not rich or powerful enough to circumvent it with out risk of punishment. I am tired of the hypocrisies of the do as I say but not as I do. I am just plain tired of their BS that has taken the level of politics to a new low that I did not think was humanly possible.

You really need to get over the BJ in the Oval. That is so irrelevant give the political landscape we are currently looking at. Give Clintons popularity, he could get the White House back in a NY second (if the law allowed) where as Cheney could not get elected as dog catcher at the South Pole. You are kicking a dead horse that is not even there anymore.

I remember when I was a child that the X-mas morning everyone was outside riding their new bike, skate board or what ever. Now, I am lucky if I see stray cat out X-mass morning. This along with the fast food crap they are selling every where and it is no wonder that a huge (50% rings a bell) of the kids are over weight and at risk for diabetes and other such ailments.

Riding a bike on Christams morning? You must not have grown where I did, kind of hard to ride a bike in a foot of snow. 🙂

When most of us were kids you did not have things like X-Box, Playstation, home computers etc. There was still junk food but it seems not as many types of it. Along with that the marketing has gotten more sophisticated. However when it comes right down to it the parents are the ones responsible it their kids turn into blimps. If left to their own devices kids will stuff themselves full of garbage. I would have if given the chance when I was a kid.
