Ok ok, I'm going to vote no even knowing that by doing so I'm going to lose my job a long with a lot of my friends. I guess I can find another at 1/2 the pay and I'll tell my wife to quit school to go back to work. Shoot! I can even sell the house and we could get little apartment somewhere. I'm with ya!!!! You guys rock! I sure hope ya'll apprecitate it!

Show me the assurance, that you "strake" will not lose your job upon a yes ratification.
All I see is more outsourced work, no more job security, no system or station protection. Where in this LBO is your job being saved written? I want to understand your logic and belief, because I fail to see your job or any elses being assured by this LBO. All I see is future losses of more jobs and more work.

We all know it won't be easy but we have to respect our craft. There is no warranty you won't get lay off either way if you are low senior. Best of luck to you.

Strake.. I've been laid off a few times in this industry.. All I can say is vote what you feel suits you.. But a yes or no vote will get you laid off anyway.. A no vote gets you a decent paying job on recall when us guys turn the retirement age in a year or two... And reiterating what Bob said, You will be making AAR wages after this bk mess is over so why not just work for AAR and get recalled to higher paying industry standard.. Your choice bro..

Well, when it's all said and done, I don't think AA will be worth coming back to. I've never worked for a compny that goes to the extreme this one has to screw its employees like this one has. It's probably best if it were absorbed by US Air. At least the people that should be losing their jobs would be losing their jobs. Who are those that ran it into the ground?

A bad situation, but I must say I agree....I am not intending to rub anyone's face in it, but it is apparent the oursourcing issue will be the issue that costs the greatest number of jobs. And it will be, for the most part, permanent.
Their will be bumping, lives turned upside down for everyone.
We are all in the same boat.

It started with Carty - actually, the cause was the BOD, which put these people in their positions.
