This used to be a fun and informational board where I came daily to see what was happening at Southwest as well as other airlines.
BUT, it has morphed into a forum for WT to spout his particular brand of “Delta is better” about any subject that is posted. 
 
Having worked at Delta for 32 years, and now at Southwest for 10, with a 1 year stint at AA Headquarters during the TWA integration, WT’s ill-informed and sophomoric rants  have driven me away.
 
I would STRONGLY  urge the moderators to take action before  the forum is lost for good, along with any advertising revenue that your readers generate.
 
To the real airline employees on here, so long and keep flying.

when you or others want to make factually inaccurate statements and don't expect to be challenged for them, then you clearly are hanging out in the wrong location.

I have battled emotionally driven and "don't say anything that will offend my airline" mentality for years.

And I have battled the personal attacks and slanderish information which far too many people here engage in because they don't like the information which someone else has provided.

I decided to stick around and work to get it changed.

We are on the right track whether you are on this forum or not.

btw, this topic has nothing to do with any of the airlines where you posted it and needs to be consolidated into one place in a non-airline topic.

advertisers and the participants want a place where a healthy interchange of ideas takes place.

If you or others want to make factually verifiable statements, then be prepared to back them up with facts and be prepared that if your facts don't square with reality, then don't be surprised if someone including me challenges it.

If you want to talk about subjective issues where there is no right or wrong answer, then it is apparent what those subjects and statements are and there is no basis for me to say that you are right or wrong.

Instead of walk away, how about you think about what it takes to engage in public debate with other people including about subjects that do have black and white, right or wrong answers based no factual information.

I know how you feel DL2WN.  And yes the moderators should have enacted many months ago.  He was removed from other sites by the moderators and not quite understanding why he is still here.  When it starts to affect the regulars like yourself, then I would hope the moderators will step in.  Good luck to you sir glad to have you with us, and you keep flying as well...

When you and others can engage in a conversation without resorting to your personal attacks, the WN forum will return to a focus on business issues.

No sir.  All my post going to the negative side was directly because of your behavior out here and "ONLY" because of your behavior.  I have turned my postings into your type of postings to prove a point to you and "YOUR" the only one that "NEVER" got it.  You really do need to get a clue WT.  Look at how you just described me, this is because I started posting "JUST LIKE YOU" to make a point.  Everyone else out here got it but you.  I have since quit responding to you.  This will be my last to you as a very last attempt to open your eyes to how you are looked upon out here and if you still can't get the hints, then you really do need help.  I still encourage all that feel the same on here to reach out to the moderators, if I continue to do so, pretty sure they might just look at it as just one person no big deal.  Again the only reason I am responding to you this last time is it seems you just might be coming around to a slight increase in comprehension of what you are doing with the ever so slightly apology, although it was only directed to the Delta employees only, in a SWA thread, and then you felt the need to continue with, I'm sorry BUT.  So maybe your not coming around.  WT just count the number of people trying to explain to you what you do out here, it's just one person, it is many many.  Who is the common denominator here?  It's you WT.  Please get a clue and stop this childish behavior. Quit stalking people.  Can you ever just read a post and walk away?  Not respond to each and every post not even about you or Delta.  I know of numerous people that have left because of you.  At least stay in the Delta thread and rah rah Delta all you want, but stay out of the other airlines threads.  I know I know you post where ever you want free country blah, blah, blah.  But when you start acting as you do and affect all others of the forums then the moderators nee to interveign and take action on the "common denominator".  Are you getting all this???  Man we all hope so...

I set him to ignore a long time ago.  While I can still see what he writes when others quote him, I ignore his original posts.  It's made for a much more productive use of these forums.

Maybe if no one replied to his comments and we all set him to ignore, he'd get bored and go away. I'm sure he gets a kick out of making people angry and getting replies.

You might try ignore for a while or if you take a break when you come back use ignore - I know it's like watching an accident in the other side of the road

If you see a post that doesn't mention AA, or mentions DL far more than it does AA, then just report it to the moderators as off-topic. They don't want to moderate day to day, but if they start getting the emails about something going off-topic, they do dive into it.
