Best of luck everyone, the current state of this company dictates a change for me..I will be vigorously seeking employment elsewhere. I no longer wish to be employed here.I will stay only long enough to be either laid-off or find a employer that appreciates employee loyalty... Good luck Everyone!!!! Best Wishes.

IMHO,
Don't make rash decisions. Having an income while looking for another income is the best scenario.

well mr chris, you can sure thank AA for all that you have... and AA screwed you? really??

so if you plan on leaving, get out, and whats your new plan? where exactly do you plan on applying? kind of easy to blow smoke... get out if you say you are.

+1......this is the reason why some in management will NEVER have respect for employees, because the small minority ruin it for the rest, just like the small minority of management ruins it for the rest of that team that works LONG hours and wants AA company to do well.

What is happening sucks, but show me a single U.S. airline that has it better? Don't you get it, its what we got from deregulation and the public thinking $250 round trip from East Coast to West Coast is EXPENSIVE.

Cheers,
777 / 767 / 757 Love

Best of luck to you Chris. Remember (if you want to stay in aviation) keep checking SWA's web site for new hires off the street. They will be hiring for AMT's soon and thru-out the year 2012. I know of a 16 yr. man from TULSA just got here not too long ago.

I'm on it....

I inherited it all ,no help from AA.Thanks

My bad Chris. The date above was a typo. Should read 2-6-12 not 12-6-12. I know these cities are far away, but if you can get in now, when the 4th line hiring starts in April, you will have a better chance at getting back into DAL before the new-hires will. Good time to get in now as we are seeing future hiring in 2014 when the W/A goes away in DAL. Trust me, SWA already is looking at hiring you guys from AA in the DFW area. I'm pretty sure they will be looking at AA mechanics first, along with experience, since they are already in the area.
