The IAM is attempting to recruit scabs at other airlines. As the IAM baggage Handlers walked past the AMFA picket signs the IAM gurus were secretely getting all the info on the scabs so they could get in touch with them once AMFA was gone......UNBELIAVABLE!!!!!

Well Manager 700, How many years did it take for the IBT to go to CO and do this??? The IAM was on the premises at NW recruiting while AMFA people were out walking!!!!!! Debating you is a piece of cake, kinda like debating a Bush supporter...Or are YOU??

If this is true then neither union is really believes in solidarity. Sad. Very sad. I guess it'll come down to choosing the lesser of two evils. <_<

Yes it is true, the IAM represented the mechanics at CO, Frank Lorenzo used the courts to abrogate every contract at CO and eliminate all unions which the judge did. Back then there was not a section 1113 process to follow.
And Delldude has posted about the airline in Canada.
So the ibt organized the scabs that replaced the mechanics at CO.

There are a few people trying to get a card drive going amongst the replacement mechanics, but nothing official, (though it wouldn't suprise me a bit).
