The fact that hp has heavy mx farmed out and the fact is that us has heavy mx farmed out and has non- licensed workers performing work on a/c too. So they both s*** and I don’t want to hear about the bankruptcies. The members voted for what they have. Your all weak and deserve that thing you call a contract.
 
US only farms out the A330 and 767, all the A320 family are done in-house all the 737s are done in-house now, and I know they are bring back the 757s also.

US east at least does heavy on the majority of the fleet, HP does not.

Never said all us plans are framed out.

That is the companys chose to bring them back in house not the IAM's. They can send 1/2 of the 737 and 757 767 and a330 to any one they want.

The bankruptcies statement was not about hp.
 
Thank your ibt all their contracts allow the total outsource of heavy mtc.

It took two bankuptcies in less then two years to allow partial outsourcing.

Take off your blinders and let reality sink in.

The IAM CBAs in the industry pre 9/11 were one of the highest paid and best scope language, something you ibters cant say about your cbas.

ONE THING TO THINK ABOUT IS THAT AMERICA WEST WAS NOT IN BK AND USAIR EAST WAS DAYS FROM CLOSING THE DOORS.
IF AMERICA WEST AIRLINES BACKED OUT OF THE DEAL AND EVEN WITH THE PAYMENT OF THE PULL OUT AS DID UNITED IN THE LATE 90's WITH WOLF WITH 50+ MILL USAIR WOULD HOLD OUT FOR A FEW MONTHS WITH LITTLE OR NO SUPPORT BUT HERE WE ARE NOW.

THE IAM STILL SOLD ALL ITS MEMBERS TO HOLD OUT FOR THE DUES.

IAM THE RAMP WILL GO FOR A STRONG UNION (IBT) JUST LIKE THAT STRONG UNION AT UPS (IBT)

but AWA was stepping cautiously on the precipice....

Ever since AWA was in existence we've been stepping around going insolvent. AWA was never financially secure, but was always resilent and pulled rabbits out of hats to survive. Merging with US Airways was the chance to get us out of the constant survival mode and build a strong viable airline. So were we on the brink?...well we've always been....so what's new? That stuff that we had to merge to save AWA is over done. It was done to get us out of the constant survival mode IMO.
 
SOME OF THE BOYS MAY BE AROUND A LOT LONGER THAT US DELL WHY CONDEMN THEM TO THE IAM BS.... :shock:
