Dear Mary Williams,

There is an individual on the ‘http://www.usaviation.com’ forums that presents himself as a replacement worker for Northwest Airlines.

His ‘Pen Name’ is “Play The Oddsâ€.

This individual has stated that he has fabricated parts without PMA authority and/or engineering documents as it is an ‘Art Form’.

Being in Aviation for over 35 years, I find this statement foolhardy, repulsive and dangerous!!

I believe that this individual is a liar but I am compelled to inform you in case this is a real threat instead of some internet posturing. For if the replacement workers at NWA are performing this type of maintenance and repairs, then the ‘smoking hole’ is imminent and we are accomplices in this next tragedy.
