If that is the case (which I do not believe) then I will pass on what ever crap your god is selling because I have no interest in spending eternity with a cold hearted POS god such as that. So for the 4 billion of us who do not believe in your god we get a free pass to enjoy the good after life? I was under the impression that we had to believe in your god in order to be 'saved' from whatever it is that needs saving? So since the 4 billion of us do not believe in your god and 1 billion of us do not believe in any god, why should I believe in some god that will condemn the 4 billion to what ever it is that you condemn us too for not believing in what ever it is that you believe in?

I believe in the here and now. I have and will continue to lead a decent life. If your god or whatever god may or may not exist does not like it, OH well. I'll have plenty of company and I am not worried.

1. Your mention of "John/Luke" is a derivative(spin off) from the OLD testament of the Book refered to as the Bible(Obviously our Jewish brothers ..who have existed for over 5000+ years) place NO value in the OPINIONS of John/Luke.)

2. More Importantly, (as for the Jews) as mentioned above, there are Multi BILLIONS of people who place NO significant Importance to the book, referred to as the bible.

3. And MOST Importantly,(as an example) these "so called" OLD religions like the Jews, and Buddhist's etc, , who's teachings/opinions are just a mere 5000+ years old, our friends the aboriginal peoples of the america's (think Native Americans/American INDIANS) have been around since time immemorial(10,000 years +),and place NO significance on #(s) 1 + 2 above, and I'LL put their knowledge of The CREATOR(GOD), and the EVIL SPIRIT(Satan) up against..ANY..professed "BETTER or ONLY" belief system, any day of the week ! ! ! !

And there are even more people than that who place no importance on the beliefs of the aboriginal/native americans who supposedly lived in America 10,000 + years ago. It could be 99.9% for all I care. My point is that assuming 'your' belief is true, I would have no interest in having anything to do with your god. I would rather suffer what ever pains await me than to acquiesce to such arrogance and self righteousness.

A thoughtful question.

First, a little(respectful) FYI.

Just as a singular example, the Aboriginal man, unearthed from the banks of the Colombia river in Kennewick WA .(referred to as "Kennewick Man"), was carbon tested to reveal that he was 9400 years old.

Another singular example(if I may, Lily),...The Jews, and the Native Americans have (both) always intrigued me. Both being Tribal in nature, the NA's from time to time have been "suggested" to be one of the "lost tribes of Israel", both having a belief of a GREAT Flood, in their respective history's, in earlier times, a (sometimes)practice of more than one wife, an EXTREME love of the earth, children, Elders, never a mention of molestation, and I suppose I could go on, and on, if I dig a little further.

The lone exception is the BOOK/(bible) of history, laws, customs etc.(The WRITTEN word)

Another "point" that picques my interest often,(are) if in fact, Noah's Ark did come to rest near/in Turkey,(the geographical location Important) the fact that the sons and daughters of Noah's sons/daughters, scattered in all directions, that Mongolians/Tibetans/Siberian aboriginals/Northern Asians bare a VERY strong resemblance to Alaskan Natives, WHO bare a strong resemblance to Indians of Canada/the Northern US great plains, .............make in my opinion, circumstances too coincidental to be discounted !

This brings us back to the "mystery" of the written WORD, whether( depending on an Individuals belief) that 'it" be "pro or con" !

I firmly believe that CREATOR, created such a Diverse world, that it is most necessary to need Pastors/Priests/Rabbis/Clerics/Holy Men-Shamans/"PROPHETS", to do the ONE THING that ALL the religious/spiritual people agree on, and that being...to lead a life respectful to every living thing, be it human, animal, EARTH/environment.

Not so long ago, I asked a Chippewa Holy Man,.."What IS the RIGHT/Correct religion" ?

His(Gentle/Smiling) answer (at first) Amazed me, when he replied........"There is NO "one" Right/Correct religion. We ALL answer to Creator/God. It Is no MORE complicated than that "

His answer was(to me at first)Profound/ Surprising/Confusing.
His answer to me(Today) could NOT be any more clearer !

Religion/spirituality..NEED NOT be Confusing/Controversial !
