info needed about aa flight conditions

We are flying with american airlines from manchester uk to las vegas via chicago in november. Weve allways flown direct with mytravel before so we dont know what this will entail. Do we have to go through immigration in chicago then again in vegas. What is the service/food, drinks like etc.Any info will be gratefully recieved. Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance

Once you go through immigration in Chicago, you are done with customs and your next leg to LAS is strictly domestic, no customs.
