Might want to look a bit into who is really receiving public assistance, what states they are from, what parts of those states they are from, and how those precincts vote.

Somewhere about 70% of the Missouri residents south of I70, for example, receive a government check. Most of them multiple forms of government assistance.

Those folks ain't votin' for too many democrats, and damn sure not for Obama.

The pattern holds up in most southern "red" states, most of which take in more federal $$$ than they contribute.

Them peoples...........the issue on reform is too many get on it who are able to work. People who paid into SSI and claiming retirement benefits or medicare shouldn't be an issue. We both most likely know people on SSA ' getting over'.....look at food stamp abuse.....look at most any fed funded program and they become ripe for abuse.....why?

BTW, did you see the news today, where another radical right target, "those immigrants that are getting free medicare" actually pay in more than they take out, while native born Americans take out much more than they pay in.
