I would like to know if AMR is showing its revenues are increasing or decreasing? Maybe some statistics as to how much cash they have and what their plans are.

AMR lost $452 million in the first quarter, not countng special items, or a little more than $5 million per day:

At 3/31/10, AMR held $4.5 billion of unrestricted cash.

Have no idea what AMR's "plans" are.

They're waiting for the rest of the world to change, then everything will be OK....

The question was whether amr is showing a revenue increase, not profits. In all fairness the topic should be titled or question should be worded differently.

Fair enough. In the first quarter, yield (amount paid per seat mile of travel) was up 3.7% from the first quarter of 2009 and PRASM (passenger revenue per available seat mile, otherwise called unit revenue) was up 6.8% year over year. Cargo yield (amount paid per ton mile) was down 11.7% from the previous year and fuel price was up 16.3% year over year. All detailed in the first quarter results press release:

Revenue is up and so are expenses.

If the question is whether revenue continues to climb in the current (second) quarter, then nobody without a need-to-know knows the answer, since AMR does not publicly report PRASM changes month by month (unlike some other airlines like CO and B6 which do report that revenue trend each month with traffic reports).
