What's new

It All Comes Out In The Wash!

Meanwhile, Crellin is still setting in his office at CCY, taking up space. Palidini is still on her little "Queen" power trip and nothing changes. Like sands thru the hourglass.........

The Secy left out a very important fact in his report. The "Tasty Cakes" , I think every employee needs to write to the DOT and make them aware of this pro-active approach that was taken several days into the meltdown.

This omission from the Secy should absolve every member of management from any accountability.

I hope management remembers the traditional response "Der Da, Da Der" when being asked about this. This has more effect when saying this while you are scratching the left side of your head with your right hand.

Meanwhile, in San Francisco a team of real airline management awaits an airline to run. Will Sir Richard and Dr. Strangelove (aka Bronner) hook up? That is the million dollar question or 300 million dollar question.

I agree. Lakefield does not care. Why should he? The man is old and has plenty of money in the bank so its not like he needs this company to survive.

I really think you need to have a love/passion for two things when running an airline. One being aviation and two being your company!! He lacks both of these!!

It really doesn't matter. The IG report doesn't impact squat. Lakefield doesn't give a hoot and neither does the travelling public as long as it's not them that's affected.

You're absolutely right. Money is still being thrown away only now it's our tax dollars on these useless, irrelevant investigations. Anything new here? Their findings were what everyone already knew. If the Inspector General really wanted to do something then he should supena management along with that bankruptcy judge and roast them over some senate hearings. Then let the senate recommend what the punishment should be and see to it that it's carried out. At least the whole country would know what a few know now, that US is run by a bunch of incompedent, irresponsible boobs with a federal judge in their hip pocket. That I wouldn't mind spending my tax dollars on.

It's also interesting to note the difference in "compensation" US gave in comparison with DL for Comair's computer problems - which the report seemed to be far less critical of. DL gave away 1 billion frequent flyer miles according to the report (about 40K) free tickets compared with 4500 or so free tickets (or vouchers) by US.

Now they must accpet blame for their actions, its not the workers pointing fingers this time, its the goverment. I hope this spawns a class action lawsuit.

The only people that get rich from a class action suit are the attorneys involved. The plaintiffs get shortchanged, the companies raped, but the attorneys walk with millions. Have you ever wondered where the financing for all the advertising from such fine firms such as the Law Offices of James K Sokolove come from?
