Umm....OK then. No need for considering your double posting here as any additional basis for the obvious question = Does ANYONE drug test your employee group...EVER?

Well in his/hers defense, Doug does have two cheeks to kiss.
 
Is Doug really qualified to even be a part of the merger? He thinks the west-east merger is complete. Except for the pilot seniority integration. Which he has essentially washed his hands of. Saying its the pilots problem. With such disregard for employees, what makes him qualified to enter a second merger? His lack of foresight previously and respect for the employees is almost criminal. Who is the next group to get screwed? Eagle? PSA? Piedmont? Sure wont be American pilots.
 
And Doug can afford this HOW?

Even if we can get financing, this is biting off a whole heck of a lot more than we can chew. All that debt and a very uncertain future. It's not what I want for the next ten years of my career.

i wouldn't say that he has a lack of respect for employee's ... i've seen some of the other airlines and service companies and if you think we have it bad , you should see them , many of these other companies don't even bother to give their employee's a thanksgiving meal ....

And your future is certain now? Get a grip on reality already pal. I suppose that you could spend the next 10 years of your career elsewhere. You and your blog have become a joke already, shut er down and move on. Heck you will get fired before Doug does at this point.

Doug parker has shown time and time again that he can not only keep an airline alive in hard times , but that he can INNOVATE ....

look at what America west Airlines and US airways were before the merger ....... now look at the company .. it's like night and day ... our operations have improved by leaps and bounds , and our techology adapation is nothing short of amazing ...

i grant you that some of the labor groups maybe unhappy , but that's their own doing for not agreeing to new contracts .... their going to learn one way or another that this isn't the 1980's and the heyday of airline travel .... times are tough ... people are simply going to have to be happy to have jobs that pay a living wage and healthcare , and those two things are hard to find these days for many Americans ...

While a Merger with American Airlines would be somewhat scary to me as an employee of US airways , i trust parkers leadership enough to want to see this happen ...

I don't agree. Doug put the two groups together prior to them coming to an agreement. Now somehow it has become the fault of the pilots. Doug should have done his homework initially and had a rough draft for the merger of the pilot groups. He was sneaky instead and that lead to years of living in a concessionary contract. Doug did a disservice to both the west and east. And is about to do it again.

Ah! I see now that's it's merely limitations in my own perceptions. Ok then. For starters; can you provide some reasonable examples of what's been done to "INNOVATE" well, really anything, or some demonstration that "our techology adapation is nothing short of amazing"...? The wholesale and systemic meltdown during "Res Migration" comes to mind, but perhaps you've an adequate defense for this latest, rabid drooling of yours here? Afterwards..if you've the steely mental strength left over; explain how "some of the labor groups maybe unhappy , but that's their own doing" relates to say, the FA group, and how mangement's entirely free of all responsibility there as well....? How many years has it been now since the west FA's have seen any improvements whatsoever? It's apparently escaped your notice, but many of the west FA's can work themselves half to death and still be on an income level nearly or perhaps actually qualifiable for food stamps! I'll leave the floor wide open for you regarding "leadership".
