J&J discontinues negotiated air travel program with US

Excuse my ignorance, but just checking the flights PHL-BHM, for monday return tues/wed.....tickets were avail. for about 490.00. R/T. Leaving 8am. arr. 12pm. Return, leave at 630 arrive 1130. about 4 hours travel time each way. Granted this was lookng about 6hrs prior to departure. Looking over 24hrs prior to departure there were r/t for 330.00 It would look like the revenue Acct. is doing the job it's supposed to. The flights that are full and in demand due to time etc...are obviously close to sold out and higher whereas those that aren't are lower priced.
So granted your paying more, and no there aren't the amenities your used to, but aren't you paying for the time savings, or else you would have selected alternate times to save money?
