Just curious if JetBlue started getting any of there EMB-190's? I would figure if they did, half of all the MDA guys would run like hell over to JetBlue(after this Republic thing for sure)!

No E-190's on the property yet. First aircraft should arrive sometime the end of August.. It will go to MCO for LiveTV installation and certification and Pre-Ops Modifications.. Then it will go to JFK for the start of proving runs. Entry into service is scheduled for October 2005. 7 aircraft in the fleet by the end of December.

JetBlue has a stack of MDA applicants a mile high.. They very much appreciate all the help US Airways has done to get the E-170 up and running and training the pilot ranks.. JetBlue welcomes them with open arms.

Since there aren't that many MDA pilots, it's a bit of a stretch to describe the stack of applicants from MDA in "mile high" terms. I suspect that nearly every MDA pilot has an application in with JetBlue. The possible exceptions are those too close to retirement to expect moving up to JB 320's, or the die-hard Pittsburghers who absolutely refuse to commute (incredible, but true.)

Well, you cannot blame jetBlue for being savvy. Should admire it instead. Why re-invent the wheel afterall...?
