Can anyone tell me if a rumor is true that jetblue is on a hiring freeze in the mtc dept and if the rumor is true mtc will start new interviewing for mtc in dec/jan?? Thanks

Well their Hangar is up at JFK, the doors are going on now. Figure a few more months and it will be open. Once that happens you will probably see more hiring.

I know for a fact that they did some interviews for Tech Ops in early March. They did them in conjunction with pilot interviews. However, I'm not exactly sure what positions they were trying to fill.

Interviews are going forward as we speak for jfk. The number is around 20 techs for April start date. JFK hanger per the company will be completed by the end of April with a May startup date for maintenance operations. What I understand the JFK hanger will not create many jobs at startup, but who knows for later... 🙂
