One reason tariffs haven't been passed down is because there is so much uncertainty of how much tariffs there will be. It was supposed to be Freedom Day in April, but the tariffs that were inplemented were revoked to "pre greatness" levels and delayed for 3 months. They were set to go into effect on July 9, but that got pushed back to August 9. And during that time, Trump got a bug up his ass about Brazil and talks a 50% because he doesn't' like the way that government is treating their former president, who is a private citizen. And he's mad at Canada because 47 pounds of fentanyl coming across our northern border in unacceptable, so 25% to 50% tariffs are set for them. And the EU gets a hefty tariff because....Trump felt like it. but nothing is set yet. It keeps getting pushed back. Have you see the term TACO? This is how it came about
