Does anyone know what happened to John's News Letters?

I haven't gotten one in a long long time. I miss his humour! He always has a way of reading between the lines.

I know he has had an issue with lost e-mail addresses a ways back. Does anyone know if this happened again.

Please inform

Thanks

The last one I received was March 3.

Well, if anyone knows John...telll him to get back to it!

I miss them! Unless he is "forbidden" by the company to do so. I know they don't like them.

The company never did like to hear the truth. I was able to read a few of his newsletters, and thought that he was dead-on with most of his views.

The company attempted to challenge John 2 years back when he quoted a pilot in his newsletter something which was perceived as negative towards Neil Cohen.

It alomost got him fired, but AFA stepped in and defused what would have escalated to "0" tolerance issue.

The company knows they can not pevent him from writing his newsletters, and they didn't atttempt to stop him when his job was on the line regarding comments towards a U officer.

There must be another issue with John that maybe personal in nature that prevents him from spending the time to write.

Heard through the grapevine that John was almost fired 3 times! I guess he got the message, that, or he doesn't like paying lawyer fees!
PS I miss his newsletter's too! 😉

I miss John's newsletters, too. Speaking of "whatever happened to", does anyone know what became of ITRADE? (He was way ahead of the pack in advocating an HP/US merger years ago.) Here is to John and ITRADE, where ever you are!!

I miss his newsletters too. Good knowledge, figures to back up the facts and humor to spare.

If you happen to be following the boards, John, bring it back!

John is a good dude. His humor is undeniable.

He simply strips info off publically available data, and, the point that differentiates him, is that he actually calls and follows up on info.

My only caveat is that when confronted with two sides and only one side responds, he tends to, um, favor that side. Certainly not a dispassionate observer.

For what it is, he is great. Could be greater, but, like all of us, time will tell.

He was top management...he got his money and left.

FYI, I sent an email to John & his reply was pretty much that he had been in DUB most of the time & had very little time for the newsletter. However he did say he hoped to start it back again soon.

I especially liked the coverage on Dave Seigel's mess at Gate Gourmet.
