June's Welcome Aboard

I'm curious what the thoughts are on this:
Would you have such vehement opposition to a member of management going above and beyond their job description?

Don't believe I have ever witnessed such a thing at U...most are over paid and under worked. Being that they are mostly entertaining the stakeholders or shareholders ,they rarely are in front of the customer; would be note worthy though.
 
It is interesting that you refuse to answer any questions about your responsibility like: did you follow up? Was it only a complaint? Did you give a suggestion? How long ago was this?....

Appril 27th and several follow ups. Doesn't matter if it was a complaint or a dozen bright red roses. Common business practice and basic social skills would dictate a response.

I don't dring the coolaid, but I:

1. trust people before I blast them
2. don't worry about the small stuff, like returning an email
3. take responsibility and follow up again
4. believe in good over bad
5. but when people like you show your colors like you have i.e. clearly you never followed up on the email, you hold the wrong people accountable, you make something huge out of something so small (a not returned email) and try to drag all of us down to your level.


1.I gave them the benefit of the doubt from the date the deal closed until April 27th! NEXT
2.I could never be at the level where I'm to self important not to respond to the providers of my lifestyle.
3. How many times would you like to to follow up? 1, 2 10, 15 times? When have you known me to be quiet?
4. Evil triumphs when good men do nothing. I spoke up! What did I get in return NOTHING!
5. I believe Mr Christ and his ilk have drug us as customers down to their level. It is they who lack the basic social skills not the customers!

Well, I won't go there. I know that Doug is doing his absolute best, and may make mistakes and I do not beleive that Doug should be held accountable for a mistake/choice on Travis' behalf.

Well like my Jarhead buddy used to say about Viet Nam "when you're in country, if they wear black pajamas you don't ask questions you shoot them"If it was important enough to a customer to write/e-mail then as a customer I at least deserve a polite brush off. All any of them had to was go to File/print and say "Get this over to Customer Relations and have a Superviser call them back" Easier than bringing a Gin & Tonic to 3F!

Grow up or get out.Listen Dude, I got socks older than you and the reason I'm on line tonight is I'm checking out other FF programs so I may take your suggestion AND that will be $30,000/yr less in annual revenue with which to fund your raise. Now go play in the sand box with all your Kool-aid drinking, can't make a web site work, customer insulting friends! Good Day!
