just when you think the whole industry is full of cutthroats.............

i'm flying my steamchicken along and land at the "competition" for fuel. i'm figuring i may get a hard time ect. but no, kind service, a ride into town and the freedom to park overnight on their pad graciously offered. downwash, you are a kind soul and a credit to the industry. it was good to see you again. cheers to your comrades in the hangar as well.

When you refer to to the cut-throats .... do like mean the folks that get there rates to the bottom or close to, then they start dropping the min''s to get the job? I have ran into those boys out there!

i found out something very interesting this year (although it may be old news).

alberta has set fixed rates for a/c. so if they need a 212 or a jetranger or whatever, the rate is fixed so nobody can try to undercut the next.

are any other provinces following this trend?

what''s the reaction out there? thoughts?
