Since Kalitta doesn't have its own forum I thought I'd pass this on here.

Look closely at the photo. The 747 actually broke into thirds, not halves. The entire tail section has also separated from the rear of the fuselage. That was one lucky crew!
 
The cause of this crash will be interesting to discover.

What say you it was improper loading?
