LCC - what does that really mean?

What management in their right mind would utilize and advertise the term "low cost carrier"? Low cost does not mean low price. This debacle is about to be exposed with the upcoming continuation of the industry consolidation. "LCC" is about to be left without a dance partner simply because of the mismanagement and incompetence of Parker and his teenage fools who can't quite fathom that short term profit does not a company make.

Look for a piecing out of "LCC" as the consolidation continues. The Shuttle will go first. After that look for the East operation to go to American because they cannot be left out of a strong Northeast operation after the Delta merger.

Then ask yourself what airline combination will be weakest in Europe. That's where the PHL/Europe routes will end up.

The sad thing is that "LCC" could be a kick-ass airline if someone who knew what they were doing was in charge. But as messed up as Parker has it now the only thing others will want are the pieces.

Parker and the teenagers profit while the folks who built Allegheny, Piedmont, PSA, and America West lose. All because of greed and egos.
