Yes; this was discussed about 2-weeks ago here if you want to see previous discussion. Notably, these ex-detainees that went back to their terroist ways were released under Bush's watch. As I noted here, while Obama cleary indicated his intent on closing Gitmo (through an executive order), he has not indicated what exaclty will happen to the 250 detainees at Gitmo. I am nearly positive that some detainees will be released (as some were under bush), but I am also fairly certain that many detainees will be put through some type of proceedings (not similar to Bush's protocol, but yet to be known). I am with you, Southwind, I am certainly interested in what happens and will be watching with a close eye the outcome of the remaining detainees' situations.
