The webpage is deciving in that I have heard it would be an all Bus fleet?

Brother in law might be taking a position with this startup..
Business model... Outsorce everything, give away seats, charge for everything, advertize on everything..

Copy Ryan Air UK

To me it just seems that if you have a couple million (or a couple 10's of millions), there are so many better business ventures to go than ANOTHER upstart, low fare, no gimmick airline. We do NOT need another airline in this country and that's a fact. We need the existing airlines to provide solid, reliable, consistent service.

Just when capacity is starting to equal demand, someone comes along to capitalize on the recovering industry. I agree, no more room at the inn. Anyone who upstarts a new airline must enjoy throwing money away. Ask I Air.

Could you imagine the passengers that airline would stir!! WHOA!!!!!!  There'd be an empty trailer park in West Virginia.

FlyI was not an upstart since ACA had been around for 15 years. They just split from UA and became Independence. It's a little bit different.

The only thing different about I-air was that they already had an operating certificate - which they changed the name of anyway. They had to get all new(or used) planes, train pilots, and virtually start up an airline as if they were doing it from the ground up. But their demise story is no different than any other startup/small/niche airline that's failed.

And this isn't the only upstart this year. Coming sometime later in the year is Virgin America:

They claim that "Everything about us is good for America"...that's why they leased 34 Airbus A320 aircraft, rather than do what is good for America and lease 34 Boeing 737s.

It seems everyone wants to be the next Jet Blue...but how good can these upstarts be. For one, they usually do not have an extensive list of destinations when they first start out. I have yet to fly Jet Blue, as they do not offer service to the areas I travel to.

And I hope to god that is not what their planes looks like...jeez does anyone have a sense of class anymore!

"SkyBus Airlines...We're WalMart in the Air!"
