I think I figured it out. All these old farts 💨 protesting are the numbskulls on fixed incomes who retired too early and are running out of money. They answer the ads and get paid $100 or $150 to stand around making complete asses out of themselves.

It’s too late for them to learn now. But yes if they had chosen not to have likely ungrateful children and bought that cheap Condo somewhat locking in their expenses they could have put in 30/35% of their pay and bought a nice House 🏡 in full and had no Mortgage when they retired.

That way they wouldn’t have to embarrass themselves being paid to stand on a corner banging on a pot with a big spoon.

Ocala has some nice Houses at reasonable prices.

We adapt here in Florida. Monthly pest treatments inside and out works fine. Living here for years you get used to the humidity. And it’s better than the dead heat no breezes you get in Texas and Arizona.

It’s the Winters that attract us to live here. We get around 7 months of paradise where everyone else is damp and freezing.

It’s the Winters that attract us to live here. We get around 7 months of paradise where everyone else is damp and freezing.

I'll stick with the Pacific Northwest. Rarely too hot and rarely too cold.
