MDA Mechanics

[TPAA&P]

We have an idea what is going to happen to the pilots and flight attendants, or I would say we know what is happening to them, but what about the mechanics?? are they going to be furloughed ?? are they going to mainline ?? or what ??

IF anybody have any type of information, I'd appreciate it.

I talked to one the other day. He said they will probably be folded into mainline by sometime in January. Republic has been making them offers for a while now but I don't think anyone has accepted.

They can't be folded into mainline unless they all ready have mainline seniority and that seniority will allow them to hold a job.

If they do not have mainline time they will have apply for a job to be hired if there are any openings.

I know the guy I talked to has mainline time. I can't speak for the others though.
