I see Piedmont is soliciting for new agents to staff the inside gate and tkt positions. When did this transition occur?

i never heard that but last check the inside was still mainline unless of course US did smthng like furlough.

MDT is a "Mainline Express" station for the inside folks. (The MLE payscale, which topped out at $13.01/hr is no more. MLE agents get mainline pay - but not the .25/hr "customer contact pay" - there are some other contract differences.
Other MLE stations (I don't claim this is a full list) include BHM, PWM, BTV, ABE, AVP. There are a few others. Can anyone come up with them? DAY?

I believe that the MLE was done away with and the inside agents are actually back to mainline may be someone can elaborate. DTW, CVG, DAY, RIC, ORF, SYR ALB, may be more went back to mainline but not sure if this is accurate

Weren't stations like CRW, ROA and CAK mainline express? Maybe also TRI?

MLE stations went back to the Mainline rate with the merger I believe, or shortly thereafter when the 170's went to Republic.

CRW is a PDT station, not sure about the other two.
American is going with Piedmont instead of American Eagle. Piedmont must have a very low bid and an agenda

i was told by some of my former collegues who are with EN that EN starts at 7 or 750 an hr and top out at 10 an hr it wouldnt surprise me that EN ground handles AE and others I know the ramp in MDT is EN as well but inside is mainline ROA and CAK are both EN as well

There are open interviews going on today for FT and PT CSAs. I believe the posting said that the starting wage was $8.50/hr.
They were never MLE. They were some the original group of stations that Mainline pulled out of in Oct 01. PSA operated TRI and PDT operated CAK CRW and ROA. TRI has been transferred to PDT now. PDT is positioning themselves as a ground handling company. Thence the contract to provide ground handling for AE in MDT.
The ramp is operated by Westchester Co employees.
