Why?
There are zealots and lunatics on both sides ( along with the liars and deceivers, AKA politicians).
We are a country divided. Divided by our level of comprehension (of the world much less ourselves), devotion (to self instead of state and governance), dedication (not unlike union membership that does nothing and complains. ), service (why should I register, I might have to go to jury duty, Why should I support MY COUNTRY, what have they done for ME!).
Neither candidate deserves my vote (not to mention that the electoral college will vote for the majority any way).
We do not have a 'one person - one vote' democracy; instead we have an oligarchic two party plutocratic system that serves themselves (call it a republic if it makes you feel better).
I muse at the childish tit-for-tat bickering about the minute issues over one buffoon over another as when the dust settles, we will all be just as mislead, but the looser will always have the ‘I told you so’ as the winner will most assuredly fail to meet the standard that they ‘promised’ in their campaign.
I am voting for Yoda for a promise of a doobie in every mail box and a twinkie for every man, woman and child.
So, I must be voting for Obama… :wacko:

How come the right doesn't recognize that? ONE video of kids "singing for Obama" versus ONE video of kids reaching out to touch Bush's cardboard pant leg (similar to the leper reaching out to touch jesus robe) - yet one is "kind of one dimensional" and the other is "memories of Hitler Youth".
