Screen names

I use boxer in a few forums and have been asked if I was a fighter or what type underwear I wear.

My screen name is in honor of my best friend Rocky. He is a 7 yr old boxer dog.

Boxer dogs get a "bad rap" for looking rather "gruff", and unfairly thought of as being "mean"

While they "may" look "gruff", they are GOOD dogs, and NOT "mean" !!!

(My offspring/Red Tail Bear has a magnificent 118lb pure bred Male.....named..BEAR, who we are all convinced is 99% HUMAN)

Next door neighbor had two boxers...they were a riot to watch. They also were very protective of the neighborhood kids. I am a very biased owner of TWO YELLOW Labs...most awesome dogs on earth. We now return you to the thread on screen names.

I started the same thread over on Flyertalk in Omni & got 60 some replys. Then someone just pointed out to me that I started the same thread back in April. That's what you've got to look foward to when you get old 🙂

Hey Coach, one of the nice things about getting old is that you make new friends every day.

Mine is latin, translated roughly:

"To the stars, through hardships/difficulties..."

For me, it has a triple-meaning: aviation/flying, life (of course), and it's also the state motto of Kansas, where I'm from. (even though currently I'm in MO).

I dunno... I thought it was kinda cool in a clever sorta way.

It is a play on words to a quote in Shakespeare's King John. In modern literature, it essentially means to add useless information to something remarkable in its own right.
