Damn,
I'd VTO just to go..

Sounds like a Rocking Time!

Sounds like a real good time to be had. I worked an HP flight tonight and mentioned that I had seen about the party in PHX and one of the crew actually is friends with the giver and knew about it. Have fun!

these aren't any kiddy parties or keggers! Tom goes all out for these parties ... great food... full bar... and always the best decorations! He had snow brought in for his x-mas party. He had a jumpy jumpy fun house brought in for his birthday party. His parties rock and everyone is always invited.

Any Hotel arangements?

I will fly out for the fun of it.......

We do have some hotels that have deals for our commuters that get stuck here in PHX. Maybe some of our commuters could help us out by naming them.

But I can garauntee you that if you are a US East employee and you need a place to spend the night your US West brothers and sisters would help you out.

I have a couch, but I must warn ya my four kids get up at 7AM and make a lot of noise!

But please don't let a room for the night keep ya from coming.
Tom's parties are absolutely the greatest!

And yes we got his permission before we posted his address.

Hope to meet ya'll there!

Here are some options:
Mostly, I stay at the Sleep Inn Airport. This hotel is close and offers a HP rate of $39 year round, and offers free high speed internet, breakfast, 24 hour shuttle, and late 2pm check out. All the rooms where recently re-done with new bedding, drapes, and carpet. Inside are a microwave, refrigerator, iron and full size ironing board. No Guest laundry or fitness center. 2621 S. 47th Pl. -- This hotel receives a lot of business from Southwest pilots and FAs --(480) 967-7100, http://www4.choicehotels.com/ires/en-US/ht...tel=AZ805§ion=2

Sometimes I stay at the Comfort Suites - Tempe. A HP rate of $39 in the summer, and $45 in the winter. Most rooms have free high speed internet, breakfast, and 24 hour shuttle. Only a 1pm check out is free. Inside are a microwave, refrigerator, iron and full size ironing board; all rooms are suites. Onsite guest laundry, airport van runs only once a hour. -- This hotel receives a lot of business from America West pilots -- (480) 446-9500 http://www5.choicehotels.com/ires/en-US/ht...nfo?hotel=AZ020

Occasionally I will stay at Country Inn & Suites Tempe - A HP rate of $39 in the summer, and $42 or $45 in the winter. Most rooms have free high speed internet, breakfast, and 24 hour shuttle. Most front desk agents will not allow for a free check out past 12 noon. Rooms have iron and full size ironing board, microwaves, refrigerators, work desks with ergonomic chairs, coffee makers, and free local phone calls. Onsite guest laundry, airport van runs only once a hour - first come, first serve. -- This hotel receives a lot of business from America West FAs and has male and female crashpad's of 10 stays for around $130 with a small charge for each additional night. -- (480) 345-8585 http://www.countryinns.com/hoteldirectory/...telCode=AZTEMPE

Best Western Airport Inn 2425 S 24th Street, A HP rate of $39 in the summer, and $45 in the winter. Some rooms have free high speed internet, breakfast, and 24 hour shuttle. Free 2pm late check out. Rooms do not have a microwave or refrigerator; but do have a iron and full size ironing board. Onsite guest laundry and restaurant, a church is right next door. Its airport van only picks up twice an hour. -- This hotel receives a lot of business from Southwest FAs, and has a female crashpad's of 10 stays for around $130 with a small charge for each additional night. 602-273-7251 http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/pr...pertyCode=03062

As a last resort I will stay at Rodeway Inn - Tempe, A HP rate of $39 or, $29 if you stay 10 times with in 6 months, and join the "wings club" Rooms have not been updated in a long time, are missing refrigerators and microwaves, and only have 1/3 or 1/2 size ironing boards. I had significant issues finding a suitable iron to iron with. It does have a free continental breakfast, featuring hot waffles, 24-hour airport transportation, free local calls, however no free internet and dial up via the telephone is caped at 28.8 --This hotel receives some business from some America West pilots -- (480) 967-3000, http://www2.choicehotels.com/ires/en-US/ht...ral?hotel=AZ072

During the summer, if you know for sure that you will be staying in Phoenix, check out Biddingfortrave.com for useful data on finding a room with priceline.com for around $20. Do your research, as one of the star level's results in an reservation at an hotel up 44th street that does not have free airport transportation.

ABsolutely Fabulous - I am so ready for a company party I can hardly stand it!!! If anyone knows tom's tele: # let me know I am obviously on the eastie side of things but I have been know to throw fabulous parties of 500 + in attendance - so if he needs help stting up or anything he can let me know... Also I have the best drink in the world - You guys will love it - It will be great to meet new co-workers in our joint company!! Will it be a theme party or just come as is.. Well let me know all the details..

There's no official theme, just come as you are.
Tom has a rather large back yard and he decorates it and hires a bartender or two to serve drinks.

If you plan on coming drop tom an email so he has some kind of idea on how to plan.

His Christmas party was attended by around 150 to 200 people, and he rented porta-potties.

You can reach Tom at: Thomasbalogh@Gmail.com

The more the merrier!!!

Would love to come but the middle of the week could get kinda rough...

Sugar (daddy or mamma), sells real estate on the side, won the lotto or Publishers Clearing House, sells space at his house as a crash pad to every commuter based in PHX, charges a $7 cover at the door, doesnt do or eat anything on any of his layovers so he can save his per diem.... 😉
