Mesa a/c West vs East

Hey - I noticed that Mesa does not fly the CRJ-900 for West but flies it for East. Is this due to some sort of contract reason, or a demand/capacity issue? I would think the -900 would do well on many of West Express routes.

Not sure where you "noticed" this but Mesa flys more 900s out west then in the east. They have been flying the 900s in PHX and LAS for a long time and I actually heard a rumor that they are about to announce that they are going to replace some 200 in PHX for new 900s. -Cape

I hope the new ones have better seats. The ones I have been on are butt-killers.
