Milton's Letter To Employees

I hear there is a letter circulating from Robert Milton in which he complains that WestJet is trying to run AC and all the other Canadian carriers out of business.
Any one confirm this?

What exactly is it ya want confirmation on?

A) Uncle Miltie has actually sent out a letter stating that a competitor is trying to run him out of business; OR

B) The competitor is trying to run him out of business??

Geez, go figure, a profitable airline being able to outperform a bloated money sucking bankrupt airline.. Kinda ironic isn't it!! 🙄 All the crap that AC has pulled and is still pulling is coming back to bite them in the posterior..

Reminds me of that cartoon with the AC machine on the ground belly up and all the WS machines circling... Sure wish I was computer literate enough to put in on here.. I'm sure someone is.. 😉

A few months ago, Westjet management were saying that Air Canada had a "scorched earth" policy when it came to competition. In other words, if they fail, they will take the entire industry with them.

In allowing Air Canada to continue their predatory and damaging business practices while their multi-billion dollar debt continues to grow, that may in fact happen, but to say that Air Canada is in any position to point fingers....is laughable.

Hey BR,

I should have waited till morning to write that post...it's kind of hard to follow now that I review it.

The jist is that Westjet made a similar statement to the media a few months ago about Air Canada. The difference is Westjet was right!

The sooner Air Canada goes away the sooner we can get to the job restructuring and healing this industry.

So....I'm for Westjet and agin' Air Canada.

Vertically challenged? I'm 6 feet tall....but I guess everyone is short compared to you. If I remember correctly you're a tall glass of water...
