I've been flying for quite some time but in an area without any MOAs. Recently moved to an area where there are full of them. I'd like to know how do you deal with them while in the air.
Remember to look at the top of your map for the operations procedures and controlling agency. Flight service will tell you if they are active or not also. THE AFD Will also give you information on them.
I try and talk to the controlling agency if I can. Out here sometimes they don't like VFR people though.
Keep your eyes open those F-16's move pretty fast but usually they are up pretty high but I have seen them down low also.
