Just curious PTO, were you not bragging about being able to hold dayshift with weekends off?

How is it your able to post in the middle of the week, in the mid morning?

use of company computers on company time? say it is'nt so :down:

Honestly, have you ever really stopped to consider ALL the things you can use foot-long tywraps for??? 😀

All That plus, I know how to adjust the seats in the SinDen on a 400 to go completely flat. B)

And then theres my MAG-Light...... 😀

If the MAG-Light vibrated then it might work......

There's something about the grease smell that I like.

I'm not sure but I think they call it your days off or in this case RDO's (Regular Days Off). We have rotating RDO's so they change every week. Right now I am sitting South of the Mason Dixon compliments of my NWA Non-Rev benes. 🙂

I don't recall saying I had weekends off but I do get two three day weekends back to back every five weeks.

So the answer to your third question is "it isn't so".

Its got to really suck to have to haul your scab carcass down to Redneckville every week just to see your family. I know as a new hire years ago (non-scab of course) I thought I was somebody flying here and there. However that ended quickly after spending a few nights in ORD, DFW, LAX, and the like. Now flights are packed with the former Greyhound flip-flop crowd, and its just a pain.

Then add in the fact as a scab like 'Cods, the agents, F/A's and pilots despise you, it just has to really be a SOB if you need a favor from anyone. Lots a luck.

Why are you here on this BB on your day off 'Cods? Just can't stay away can you? That's the understatement of the year, with over 2000 posts in 6 months. 🙄

well I guess I'll just take your word if you deny stating you had weekends off, If Im wrong then I apologize.However with your superior negotiating skills I would think you could do better than rotating RDO's.

WOW I have saturday & sunday off with four weeks of vacation and my Union negotiated that.

Man you truly are a force to be reckoned with...

Well it's kinda hard to live out the fantasy when
1) there's only scabs working at NW
2) third seat hero is from another airline and a FORMER MX (not that makes a diff...)

can't really play out the fantasy............

However, this is one I like to play out one day......
thought about it in AUG when there was this pesky scab that hit on me all the time.
(a REAL NW worker that crossed)
He use to make comments like:
"You think we mechanics are bad"
or
"you probably only like pilots"
or
"You probably think we mechanics are dumb and that's why you don't want to go out with me!"

WHEN I, for one, is a taken woman (as some of you may know... "big daddy")and had explained this. Yet here he is pestering me for a date at starbucks for coffee and stuff.


Well as you know.... the strike happened.

And as I was doing my safety check and cleaning...here comes the NWA Scab...........

then I started to think.......how nice it would be to just go up to him and make an announcement

"Hey dummy,this one isn't just for me, but for all the mechanics on strike!"

and give him a good hook punch. He's so scrawny I think I could beat him up.


Think PFAA would protect me? Nah. Scab union. 😉 🙄

UAL flew (and may still) 2 each former NWA 747-400s(even had your guys grey FA seats still in them)

those aircraft worked the SFO-NRT/SFO-SYD circuit, if they're still in operation........
