Gosh, ya know what? for the life of me, I know of no such incidence. Perhaps if you were to elaborate, say, give specific examples, It might jog my memory a bit. Of course, if you dont, we all will be forced to conclude that this is just more "kiddy litter"

I always thought it was ILLEGAL to pencil whip a logbook.

Now they should start to say: "OOPS! We made a MISTAKE"

My NW fantasy would be to be close enough to either MSP or DTW to hear the flushing sound of them going down the toilet.

Not that I have a death wish for the present employees, I think they (you) need to be put out of your misery. j/k

Maybe a merger would be another fantasy factor. I'd like to see another airline kick the stink out of the scabs. And kick the management trash to the curb. I'd like to see the non-scab employees merge in perfect harmony and live happily ever after.
 
my NWA Fantasy is that NWA needs to sell its Asia Routes and AA will be the benifactor.
 
If you have HARD EVIDENCE of what you state you should take it to every newspaper in the NWA hub & focus cities and their congressional delegations.

If, as I suspect, you don't then you should shut your pie hole.

The same goes for you scabs, if you are pencil whipping logs then you should have action taken against you. Don't think for a minute that because I chastized Princess that I support or condone your actions, I don't. I wouldn't pee on you if you were on fire.

But in order to fight this kind of thing you need facts, evidence & Courage, not half arsed rhetoric.

I wouldn't mind if a F5 Tornado hit that majestic building on Lone Oak Parkway.

I was living in Eagan when a series of tornadoes hit the area. I remember thinking "geez.... what if it hits bldg A"
kind of makes you wonder...(or bldg F ... )
 
My post airline career has turned me into a regular businees traveler. Ironic? Anyway my NWA dream is that I would have to fly to MSP for business on a weekly bassis for the next year, but that I would never use Northwest. I guess not giving NWA $500x 50 = 25K is kinda small potatoes, but it would still make me feel good. Well, my dream just came true.
Any ideas about what to do for fun there besides going to "the" mall?

I have over 20 years in airline maintenance and I know what these scabs are all about. It's all about me,myself,and,I and to hell with everybody else. A scab who scabs during an AMT strike has to be willing to fudge the numbers,take short cuts,pencil whip,etc. They are rewarded for doing so by the management in charge and fired if they don't. It happened at the "NEW" Eastern and it's happening at NWA today. The FAA has been paid off just like they were during the Eastern strike to look the other way. If an FAA inspector tries to say something about it or tries to do the right thing they are transferred or demoted. The FAA won't do anything until there is a deadly accident. They are slaves to corporate America. Money comes first,safety second.
 
So Princess is that ONE year of experience and 19 Years of repitition of the first years experience or is it 20 years experience?? That's for starters.

Secondly since we have to always make sure we have "Just Cause" to fire a union employee then doesn't that morally & ethically mean we need to apply the same standard to the scabs and/or FAA? Or do Union Employees get treated to a different standard of conduct then say the FAA?

Can't have it both ways darlin'!

So what makes you an expert? How long have you worked in aircraft maintenance? Have you ever been forced to work with "New"eastern scabs as I have been here at AA? PineyBob you post as much or more B.S. on this site than PTO does. I think you're the one that needs to post some facts for a change.

My NorthWest fantasy is being realized each and every day the "Real Mechanics" {AMFA} Withold they're services. This may not seem like much now to many on these boards, but in the end I believe we will see what a costly mistake was made by allowing maintenance to be left to the lowest bidder, it is already being realized by other carriers in the Industry.
