What's new

Name that airport

It has to be a city that gets widebodies as there are containers in the pic.

Not ABQ or RNO. Too much greenery for LAS. San Juan, PR perhaps? Never been there though, so the high terrain might be out of place - but wide-body activity is evidenced, so that's what I'm going with

its def not rno or abq because we do not fly east metal into those cities if i am not mistaken . I am positive its (SJU) San Juan Puerto Rico .

At first I was thinking it might be SEA. The original US Airways colors and Star Alliance colors would make it most likely a legacy US station. Which would rule out RNO and I know that's not ABQ. I was only in SJU once and I remember the US gates were on that side of the terminal with the runway behind it. There are also mountains in the vicinity of SJU and as NiceLandingCaptain said, the evidence of a widebody also works with SJUs favor.

My guess is SLC. It has to be a city that east metal flys or has flown to in the past.

I am 99% sure that is San Juan PR. I pulled up a picture I took when I was in there and the mountains, gates and tall ramp lights on the ramp look identical

Although those gates would have to be the 31 through 39 gates on the south side of Apron 3 for that to make sense. Are you sure those are not gate 35 and 37 instead of 15 and 17?

not one hundred percent sure.... but its is my recollection that USAir did not ever fly to
SLC.... they announced that we were.... but our famous CEO who let us to the grave decided
at the last minute not to go... so ..... we never flew there....
