I'm a centrist independent. Voted for Clinton, Gore, Reagan, and Perot.
And now, every time I see a photo of the WTC or Pentagon. I thank God that Al Gore was not the one in power that fateful Tuesday morning.
Call me a Rep if it makes you feel better, but the never-ending labeling and ignorance that comes from you and your ilk does very little to warm me over to any Dem candidates.
Tech, Tim Geithner is a tax cheat. And he's being trusted to oversee the IRS?!???
So is Ron Kirk, who is the current nominee for Commerce.
Had Daschle not been called out as having been a lobbiest to the department he was tapped to leave, he'd probably still be in the running for HHS instead of that baby-killing-supporter from Kansas.
And then there's that other unforgettable name who withdrew her own name for not paying nanny taxes...
So, a total of four people that Obama felt met the ethics standards enough to name to a cabinet position. Fortunately, there are enough people in the conservative media willing to expose a tax cheat for what they are.
Whitewater may appear to be a stretch, Tech, but just as with the OJ trial, "not guilty" does not equate to innocence. Likewise with "insufficient evidence" determinations. Just because you can't prove beyond a reasonable doubt doesn't mean it didn't happen.
With Whitewater, Filegate, and TravelGate, there was more than enough doubt to warrant an investigation, and as Filegate and the two year "loss" of papers related to Whitewater proved, the Clinton's are pretty damn good at covering their tracks when they work together. The only reason Bill got caught over Lewinsky is because Hillary wasn't involved with it. Had it been a threesome, I'm sure she would have found a way to make sure there was no soiled skirt lying about Monica's closet......

You may want to take notice of a news story that was brodcast on the national news over the weekend.
It was a factual story of Maryland highway paving crews, RECALLED from unemployment because of "stim" money. The Interviewed workers were VERY CONVINCING to people who saw that story.
HEL*, one dude said, "look, I voted for McCain,...BUT I've got to tell you that I DON'T blame BO for this horrible MESS, I blame BUSH. He went on to say that after Almost losing his House, and then getting back to work(via "stim") that he's close to having a different perspective about BO.

I pose this EASY question to Everyone here on the cooler'.
HOW many TIMES, from HOW many different States do you think you'll SEE story's like this being brodcast about guys going BACK to WORK via "stim"...between now and 2010/2012?

Any takers that a TON of story's like these will be shown from states like FLORIDA/PA./MO...(I'm sure you catch my drift). Religion and politics don't mix but on the other hand politics and moral issues do mix and quite often. Just because something happens to be the "Law of the Land" doesn't make it morally right or wrong and those perceptions are subject to change.
