LCC soon to find itself sporting an outdated NFL Logo. Maybe we could pull off something akin to the time when Delta employees bought the company a B757. What is the price range for a A319 paint job? Less than $180,000.00???? Hmmmm....would it be possible to raise enough to update the logo? Maybe the team could be willing to go 50/50.....

Anyway, if there's enough support, I'll kick in $50.

I think the actual cost would be much more than just the paint job. It takes about a week to paint the plane. Maybe longer for a specialty paint job. So the plane will be offline for that time losing revenue. Not sure where the NFL paint jobs were done, but I believe we are still using the shop in Roswell, NM. So add the crew costs and fuel for the roundtrip... it's adding up quickly...

Colours and logo are fine Old or New, I just think the Panthers airplane lokks The Worst. Poor application of a livery. Steelers is the Best,Eagles good and Cardinals flashy. Panthers=Yuck!

DL's employees did not buy DL a 757, they bought a 767 which was titled the Spirit of Delta.

On Dec. 15, 1982, Delta employees and friends gathered at the airline’s Technical Operations Center in Atlanta to present the company with its first Boeing 767 aircraft, Ship 102, christened “The Spirit of Delta.” At that time, the airline industry was troubled by a weak economy and high fuel prices. After 35 consecutive profitable years, Delta posted a net loss. As a way of expressing their appreciation for the company during a difficult time, Delta employees spearheaded Project 767 to raise $30 million to purchase the aircraft. The grassroots effort was led by three flight attendants and supported through combined donations from employees, retirees and friends.
