As Rakesh would say, we have a conundrum. I just read US Daily, for July 28th, that the new lanyards began shipping last week and to look for them soon. Now they are the only approved lanyard as of Aug 1st., a whole 3 days away. I'm on reserve, so if I don't get to the office before then, what do I do? :blink: With the current environment I want to make sure I'm in compliance.

You should wear your yellow lanyard and tell anyone who wants you to take it off the go #### themselves.

Gee whiz if they are so damn important you would think they would send them overnight delivery to our homes directly from China. Still have not gotten a cbs message or a letter in my mail box explaining when we have to use the new lanyards. Anybody know if the little metal clip that comes with the id is approved? That is how I intend to wear my ID. Clipped to my pocket or tie or epaulet. Perhaps when I come in from DUB on the 31st. someone will be there to deliver the lanyard to me so I can hang it in the master bathroom right in front of the toilet to remind me how easy it is for this company to flush money down the toilet.

No Idea but I do know this. As a matter of law a company can enforce a dress code. Unless of course your CBA states otherwise and is spelled out. Otherwise the laws regarding "At Will" employees apply. Further a dress code need not be a safety issue. It can even cover things as facial hair, tattoo's etc.
Folks, This screams of retaliation for the USAPA Advertisement. It also seems to be right out the Jerry Glass , Union Buster playbook. Be careful this is only the beginning of the witch hunt.

The new lanyard should make the work force look more professional.NOT.What a waste of money,but the biggest waste was wolfs new dark blue paint livery and the change from USAIR to USAIRWAYS.This airline has a history of making decisions that do not benefit the company,customers or employees.US has the sad history of being the only airline that had charged for water and they still charge a fee to redeem frequent flyer miles.
