New OCC/SOC where will it be?

Wouldn't the east scheduling work better together in OCC rather than split it between OCC and SOC since the f/a's are still seperate and will be for quite some time. Future and daily sort of work hand in hand correct?

They dont have that much interaction. Wont be a problem to seperate them.

Folks sometimes choose to live in Hancock and Brooke counties in West Virginia (Weirton, Follansbee) and Jefferson County in Ohio (Steubenville, Wintersville). Property Tax rates are incredibly low and now less than 30 minutes drive to PIT. People are great but schools are terrible. Better to send kids to parochial schools. There are two very good Catholic schools in the area.


Well, I guess you don't know anything about the schools...take it from a long time Hancock County resident, they are very good! National Blue Ribbon schools of excellence, a great accomplishment! 2 very nice high schools, 2 middle schools (5-8), one which is brand new.
They ae trying to consolidate the elementery schools to build a possible new high school, but that is years away. Brooke High school puts some of the area PA schools to shame with their facilities. Their 2 middle schools are older, but in great shape.

I have been on a number of committees, PTA's, improvment councils, for Hancock County Schools. They have great teachers as well as administrators.

Some of the Ohio Schools are struggling, but the WV schools are very good.

Save Tax Money....Come on over!!!

I remember the year I graduated, 90% of the girls at Brooke HS were pregnant or already had kid/kids. Yeah, I know that's not the school's fault but YEESH.

We always went disco roller skating. She's a brick...HOUSE!... She's mighty mighty she's lettin' it all hang out! The big thing was football season. And deer hunting season. Hear turkey season is a big thing now. Snow days. "Corning" cars at Halloween. Parades and fireworks on the 4th of July.

To get back on topic, I'm glad OCC is staying where it is. There are many good people there who might not have moved to PHX.

Really? First time I've heard East software was inferior to West. From what I've heard from local employees who have some west employees here for training, Shares isnt set up to handle a lot of reissues. With the bad weather the east has from time to time, invol reisssues are going to be VERY time consuming. 🙁

I've talked to the East Manager for Crew Scheduling and from what I understand a lot of there scheduling is done on paper. And it takes like 9 "Future Schedulers" to do what 1 does on the West side.

Now I know East has more Pilots and FAs but I don't believe it's 9 times what west has.

That leads me to think that the West does have a better scheduling system (as far as software goes).

I think it is because the East F/As have way more flexibility with their schedules than the West. Like the daily bid sheet, AIL. Do you have that? Also, it sounds like we have more duty rig limitations.

Usually the sex occured after the dico roller skating closed for the night. We would sow wild oats and then pray for crop failure.
