Her previous job/roles(in no specific chronological order), as stated by the article:
Director of airline marketing at Sabre
Director for airline distribution sales
Manager of Sabre customer service
Supervisor of international and Spanish reservation sales.
Senior director, air merchandising and core services
Her new job:
VP Business Technology Delivery
...will lead the software development team, which is responsible for customer-facing applications, such as airport and online check-in tools and service recovery systems
In my line of work (software development, configuration, systems architecture), anyone I've dealt with in a senior position had a hands-on background in actual software development or systems analysis of some type. I don't really see that kind of background in her dossier. That's all I'm sayin. She may very well be qualified, and time will tell.
