You know KC, we've covered a lot of things so far on this, but you still haven't commented on the original subject about the New York liberals trying to rewrite parts of the Constitution they don't like. By changing the subject, you don't want to talk about, is a common liberal tactic and one I see you are quit familiar with!.
Dog it's really not about the City itself, or California either, but about the leadership in those places that have swag so far to the left and ignoring the rights of it's citizens, guaranteed by our Constitution. Bending the laws of the land to suit their own political goals. That's what I feel we should be concerned about today.
The Patriot Act is one of those things that, in this time in our history, is a necessary evil. It's a tool that is designed to help in the fight against domestic terrorism. But if misused, as it would seem was the case under the Obama administration, can also be used as a political weapon against the vary people it is supposed to protect. It does have safeguards built into it to prevent that. But it is looking more obvious each day those same safeguards were illegally circumvented by those who were, and are, hell bent on bringing down a dully elected President!
The whole thing about trampling amendments is that you trample amendments. No matter how badly Obama "abused" the Patriot Act - it was all perfectly legal. Perhaps it shouldn't have been rushed thru in 3 days. And....this is important....it's what constitution hating liberals like me were trying to tell you when it was passed.
So we need The Patriot Act to protect us against Muslim terrorist while liberals continue to support mass immigration from Muslim countries known to fund, train, and harbor terrorist. The best way to fight these bastards is don't open the door for them to begin with.
The Patriot Act had nothing to do with immigration. It had everything to do with illegal searches and elimination of rights. It didn't just apply to Jose and Muhammad....it could (and was) used against John, Jim, Joe, and Bob. BUT....you all allowed it to be trampled. Just saying....you should pay more attention to what you are allowing your lawmakers to do. Since it's already been proven that the constitution can be violated without complaint....might as well try to violate the holy second.
The problem with the Patriot act is it can be misused and turned into a political weapon too easily, as it would seem with the Obama administration. But now that the shoes on the other foot, it has the left scared silly. Not only now it may be used against them, but also that with the currant Congressional investigations going on, may expose criminal excesses with illegal access into American citizens private phone calls, and the Trump campaign, and passing that information on to the Clinton campaign in a election year. Now, if proven true, should scare the crap out of you knowing top officials of the FBI, and Intelligence Services, may have conspired to influence the outcome of a Presidential election.
