What's new

No more 737-300s

What country uses A6 for aircraft registration? Anyone?

United Arab Emirates (had to Google it). Aircraft registration letters sometimes have little apparent rhyme or reason.

G for Britain, D for Germany ( Deutschland), SE for Sweden make sense. But, N for the US, OO for Belgium, OY for Denmark seem odd. Brazil has four different ones.

Would be simpler if ISO codes were used instead.

Wow, this post is making me feel OLD....
I remember when PI got their first new 733, and what a big deal it was at the time. Now here were are scrapping them 25 years later...

Good point. This is exactly why the "Boeing is built to last; Airbus is junk" argument holds no water. Passenger airlines in the U.S. and other first-world countries don't want airplanes that old due to efficiency and maintenance. So what if a Boeing is built to last 200 years?

The West 300's maybe gone but I think the East still has at least 3 on the property. They maybe in prep for retirement, not sure , but they still show up on the maintenance menu.
